Pediatric Dental Specialist, Stephen P Girdlestone DDS is a board certified pediatric dentist in Canton, Massillon, and North Canton, Ohio.
Dr. Stephen Girdlestone opened his private pediatric dental practice in February, 2004 after being honorably discharged from the United States Army at the rank of Major.
Dr. Girdlestone is a 2002 Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He received his postdoctoral certificates in advanced education in pediatric dentistry in 2001 from the Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry (TAMBCD). The Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry is internationally recognized for its oral health sciences education, research, specialized patient care, and community service programs. Dr. Girdlestone’s TAMBCD research involved “A Survey of Access to Dental Care after Age Maturation from Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Dallas, Texas”.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1996. As president and active member of his dental fraternity, he was active in many philanthropic activities. He continues this dental community involvement as member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
